The 2023 International Conference on Advanced and Emerging Materials (AEM 2023) will be held on September 16-17, 2023. The conference will be annually organized by Hubei Zhongke Institute of Geology and Environment Technology.

AEM Conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences. It also provides the premier multidisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Advanced and Emerging Materials.

We are sincerely inviting the Technical Program Committees, Keynote Speakers, Invited Speakers and Regular Speakers. Full paper submissions for publication to EI and SCI journals are warmly welcome. For each accepted paper, at least one of the authors needs to register for the conference and present the paper virtually or physically. This is mandatory for including the paper in the proceedings. If participants with accepted papers are not able to present their work due to travel restriction during the conference period, they can attend virtually.

1. Publication in Conference Proceedings

All accepted full papers published to the conference proceedings will be submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus for indexing. For each accepted paper, at least one of the authors needs to register for the conference and present the paper.

Publication Ethics Statement

2023 International Conference on Advanced and Emerging Materials (AEM 2023) follows the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible procedures against any publication misconduct. This Conference is committed to maintaining high standards through a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies. Any infringements of professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, bogus claims of authorship, should be taken very seriously by the editors with zero tolerance. The submitted manuscript should not have been previously published in any form and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Review Process

Step-1: Submit Manuscript via Online Submission System     

When you submit a manuscript for publication in Conference Proceedings, please an e-mail confirmation from the editor or editorial assistant will be sent to the corresponding author within 3 working days. If you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact the editorial assistant by aemconf@163.com.

Step-2: Preliminary Review    

The topic of manuscript must be included in the conference's aim and scope. Then, the similarity rate checking will be done. Manuscripts out of topic or plagiarism will be rejected.    

Step-3: Peer Review    

AEM 2022 uses double-blind system for Peer-Review; both reviewers' and authors' identities remain anonymous. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least 2-3 experts in related field: one editorial staff member as well as one to three external reviewers. The review process takes about 1-2 weeks.    

Step-4: Result  

The review result is based on the suggestions of the reviewers. If reviewers have different opinion on manuscript, the editor will make a balanced decision based on all comments, or a second round of peer-review may be initiated.

1. Abstract Submission (oral or poster presentation only)

For attendees who are interested in submitting an abstract only for an oral or poster presentation without publications, please submit your abstract(s) following the guidelines as below:

● Abstract should be strictly within one A4 page in length apart from the cover letter page and containing 200-250 words;

● A cover letter page is required to include a short biography of the corresponding author/presenter with following information:

1) Full Name; 2) Title information (Prof. / Dr. / Mr./ Ms.) (Teacher / Student); 3) Affiliation information (Department, University/Institution) + Country; 4) Research Interests;

● Abstract should be submitted in .doc format according to the Abstract Template;

● Kindly mark "Abstract for Oral/Poster Presentation" when submitting the abstract via the Online Submission System;

● Acceptance or rejection will be notified within two weeks.

2. Full Paper Submission (EI conference proceedings)

● Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers in English on their research relevant to the conference topics and theme. Submission of any manuscript that contains redundant or duplicate publication of the same or very similar research work violates the policies of recommendation and publication will be rejected.

● For each accepted paper, at least one of the authors needs to register for the conference and present the paper at the conference physically or online. This is mandatory for including the paper in the proceedings.

● No strict typesetting is required before your initial submission but please refer to the Full Paper Template here for basic layout and format.

● Full papers are required to submitted via the Online Submission System.

● Manuscripts should not be simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere.
